I have turned my passion for wealth building through real estate ownership into a highly successful career in Residential real estate and relocation. First as an award winning agent and then as a leader of award winning sales teams, I have overseen the successful completion of thousands of sales in my 30 years in the business. I am passionate about the importance and value of being a life long student and consider helping to develop the careers of my agents to be a privilege and the best part of my job.
I joined Sotheby's International Realty as a sales associate in January, 2009 to further enhance my ability to provide world class marketing programs and buyer representation at the highest level. In my first year with the company I ranked in the Top Ten of office agents for dollar volume of closed sales and Number One in closed units.
I was named Brokerage Manager of Sotheby's International Realty's Monterey Peninsula region in 2010. I was promoted to Vice President within 6 months of assuming the Management role. I was attracted to SIR's dynamic reputation for providing exceptional buyer and seller representation through the broad reach of its unparalleled creative, high-end marketing, cutting edge technology and highly personalized service.
Prior to my affiliation with Sotheby's I was Team Leader of the Keller Williams Market Center in Carmel, CA. As launching Team Leader I directed its rapid growth. Under my leadership the office won numerous awards including the Carmel Chamber Green Ribbon of Excellence and the Monterey County Weekly "Best Real Estate Office".
I spent a significant part of my career in the field of Corporate Relocation in Boston, MA. Recognized for my expertise in Corporate Marketing and other Relocation related business development programs, I have been honored with awards by Relo, Coldwell Banker Relocation Services, Relocation Resources International and Cendant Mobility Broker Network. I have served on numerous Advisory Boards and Councils. I hold the CRP designation and have been awarded ERC's Meritorious Service Award. "National Relocation and Real Estate Magazine" has three times named me one of the Top Women in Relocation and Real Estate.
I am the past Chair of the Carmel Chamber of Commerce, a graduate of Leadership Monterey Peninsula class of 2005, active in WCR and the Monterey County Association of Realtors.
I live in Monterey with my husband Don and our beloved golden retriever, KJ. In addition to our son Frank, his wife Nyla and their two daughters, Maddie and Ella who live in Carmel Valley, we have two daughters, Tara and Siobhan. Tara lives in Saratoga, CA with her husband John Couch and Siobhan lives in West Palm Beach, FL.
