There are several reasons that I might be the best person around to help you with your Real Estate needs.

•·        The Internet is a good place to look for property, but often the best opportunities are gone very early in the listing cycle.  I make an effort to look at new listings every morning to see what is new on the market.  If I have an understanding about exactly what you are looking for I might be able to find that great deal for you before someone else snatches it up.

•·        As a Realtor and member of the MLS, I have better access to the search options for listed properties that you will get on the Internet.  This allows me to break down the available properties a bit better when I know what your housing needs really are.

•·        Another advantage I have in helping you find that "perfect" house is that I actively participate in the weekly Realtor caravan where we tour recently listed properties in the Auburn/Opelika market.  By walking through a property I can get a much better feel for a house than can be described in a few hundred words with a few pictures.

•·        The fact that I work for a very active Real Estate Agency, Weichert Realtors Porter Properties is a real advantage.  I spend time talking to fellow realtors and attending meetings where we discuss available property.  This gives me a great resource of the opinion of other experts on the local Real Estate Market.

•·        I grew up in Auburn and I am very familiar with the local area.  This gives me a real advantage when it comes to helping someone with their real estate search.  There are often situations where a thorough knowledge of the area is the only way to really know if a particular property or area will meet all of the needs of a client.

•·        I spend a lot of time researching Real Estate in the Auburn / Opelika area. I have put together reports on many different areas that contain data that will be useful to a buyer or seller.  If you are interested in the Condo selling cycle I have charts and graphs that show the history of Condo Sales by month for the past 5 years.  I have information about the average selling price listed by subdivision.  I have data that shows the difference between asking and selling prices within areas of the city or by subdivision.  And probably more important if you want to know something that I don't have, I have the expertise and interest in massaging the local data to find the answer.
