I have been a Blacksburg resident since 1986. I have been a REALTOR since 1974. Blacksburg is a beautiful place to live. Residents have many recreational and educational opportunities. Many residents tell me that it is a wonderful place to raise a family. The New River Valley offers mountain sports and water sports. Hiking, biking and boating are popular activities for many area residents.
Education opportunities exist at Virginia Tech, Radford University and New River Valley Community College.
Blacksburg, Christiansburg and Radford and other New River Valley locations all have Parks and Recreation Departments for area residents to enjoy. Recreation opportunities for all ages.
