I spent considerable time in my previous career in Channel Development. Meaning, I worked with the various business models of resllers and distributors. All the partners needed to bring a product to market must get their fair share of the pie based on their contribution. When I started to realize how wildly unbalanced the contribution to share ratio was in traditional real estate, I knew I could build a successful company simply by providing a fair business model.
