John Mathews serves as a Sales Manager in the Tri-County Area, serving out of the Leesburg Office for Freedom Mortgage.  He is responsible for new business development, loan origination, and talent acquisition.

John has over 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining Freedom Mortgage, he was a Sr. Loan Officer for PHH Mortgage, as well as a Vice President and Area Manager for Del Webb / Pulte Mortgage. During this time John helped various clients, ranging from first time home buyers to the active adult. John’s vast experience has given him the ability to help you with your financing needs in a fast, friendly, and easy to understand manner.

John and his wife are lifelong residents of Leesburg Florida, and have 6 children and 10 grandchildren. John enjoys fishing, skydiving, and spending time with his family. He is also very active within the community and his church.
