Safeguard Radon specializes in measuring your home or business for radon gas concentrations and if necessary, we can install the radon mitigation equipment required to remove excesive radon gas concentrations from your structure.

Radon gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer but it is easily removed by installing a vacuum pump which draws the radon gas containing air from under the structure and venting it to the exterior where it is diluted in the ouside air. Even extremely high concentrations of radon gas are easily lowered to an acceptable level. You can learn more about radon gas and the health effects of prolonged exposure by visiting the following website; www.epa.gov/radon .

The average cost of a radon gas mitigation system averages between $900 - $1200 but each house or business can vary based on the materials and labor required to install the system. We provide free onsite quotes of your home or business. All quotes provided are a firm price with no surprise increases once we arrive on the job site to install the system. We are committed to providing you and exceptional value for your money and unquestionable business ethics. All systems components are fully warranted for one year with the exception of the vacuum pump, which has a full five year warranty.

The national average for radon gas exposure is 1 in every 15 homes but in our area of Kansas the average is 1 in every 3 homes. Radon gas moves upward through the soil and may be under your foundation and be drawn into your home through sump pump holes, future plumbing stub outs or cracks in the foundation concrete slab.  The only way to know if you and your family or employees are being exposed to cancer causing radon gas is to test your home or business.
