A native of Massachusetts, Joe initially joined Gibson Sotheby's International Realty in 2003 and co-founded Unit Realty Group, a local Boston-based boutique brokerage, in 2012. Before establishing himself as a real estate professional, Joe worked in the fields of retail banking and investment management. He went on to earn the Realtor® designation in 2004 and has subsequently earned the Certified Residential SpecialistAccredited Buyer Representativee-Pro and Green designations from the National Association of Realtors.

Professionally Joe has been recognized for industry excellence and currently serves on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR), Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR) and theMassachusetts Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists (CRS) as well as President Elect of CRS for 2013. Joe is also involved with and has chaired many committees within the local Realtor organization including Technology,EducationStrategic PlanningCommunicationsBusiness Developmentand most recently Professional Standards CommitteeSocial Media Task ForceRealtor Political Action Committee Trustee and Young Professionals Network for GBAR and MAR. Joe won the GBAR Realtor Spirit Award in 2011 has been a finalist for the GBAR Realtor of the Year award in 2011-2013.

Despite having been recognized as a "top ranked" agent Joe finds time to be involved in the community throughout Boston. Currently he is member of theNeighborhood Association of Back Bay, participates in the Beacon Hill Civic Association and on the Executive Committee for The Common Canine. Additionally, Joe has held executive positions within the Boston Main Streetsprogram and the Boston Dog organization.
