I was born in the Pittsburgh Area.  After living in the Washington, DC area, I decided to come back to my roots.  This area of the country is truly special with its small towns and its friendly people.  On any given weekend you can find small coffee shops and restaurants that you never knew existed.  The search is as much fun as the discovery!

Another thing that I ove about this area is that the costs are not out of control like you find in other sections of the country.  Its very easy to find farmers markets and road side stands where you can find freshly harvested vegatables! 

Its because of that low cost of living that makes this a great place to own a house!

When I got back to the area I had to rent a home.  That experience ended!.

So, I know what its like to rent and I know what its like to own a home.  Owning is much better!  I started my working career as a pastry chef and a cooking instructor.  Circumstances allowed me to realize a long sought after desire to sell homes and I reached for the desire.  I now find myself helping people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences to own a home of their dreams.  The best thing about it is that over the course of my real estate career, I have become affiliated with a number of other professionals who work in the finance, investment and contractor-related industries who also share in the same goal. So, when someone comes to me with everything from credit problems to special housing needs, I have a long list of people I can turn to with a sense of trust that they will treat my clients with great regard and care.

I am also using social media to share my other love - cooking! During the course of every week I share great articles about recipes and do-it-yourself home improvement subjects on my Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn account.
