In my seven years in the business I have built my business to over 85% referrals by specializing in my clients -- not in geographical parts of Birmingham or Hoover, not in types of properties, or being a "listing agent" that just plays the numbers game. Each person that I work with has specific needs, wants and dreams and I work with them to help them achieve those dreams. My Granny told me a long time ago that God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason. We should listen twice as much as we speak. This is a skill I have used with great success in my Real Estate career.

Janet Hamm is a Birmingham native and is very proud of her Southern roots. She attributes her ability to work with a diverse group of people and her adaptability to her background as an "army brat". Janet feels that her strengths -- her loyalty, her intuitiveness and her tenacity were developed early on as her family moved from state to state and country to country.
Janet had over 25 years experience in marketing and sales with AT&T before beginning her Real Estate career. Her past experience is invaluable as she develops unique marketing plans for her Sellers. Another benefit of her previous career is a powerful background in contract negotiations -- something that she puts to good use for each and everyone of her clients.
Currently Janet and her husband Jim live in Hoover, Alabama and both are active in many community activities. In her spare time Janet can be found involved in many activities at Hunter Street Church, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) or just enjoying relaxing times with her friends and family.
