During my 32 year career as a REALTOR, I have closed thousands of transactions in many different market conditions including residential, commercial, multi-family and land sales.  My husband, Ron Boone, Sr. and I purchased our first home when I was 18.  By the time I was 24, I had two sons and owned a multitude of rental property, when I decided to obtain my real estate license. As I continued to excel in the industry, I brought my husband into the business as a Realtor and Class A contractor and we began revitalizing the Ocean View community in which we lived. 

In 1989, Boone Builders built my office, Judy Boone Realty, Inc., at 809 E. Ocean View Ave, Norfolk, VA 23503, where we combined the services of sales, rentals, property management, new construction development and mortgage financing all under one roof.  We built new homes and renovated the older ones. We bought commercial properties and opened anchor businesses such as Dairy Queen, a Hardware Store, several restaurants, pubs and even rebuilt a landmark fishing pier, Ocean View Fishing Pier, lost to Hurricane Isabel in 2003.  

We continue to be heavily involved in charity work, civic leagues and citizen organizations, schools and youth programs.  Sponsoring many events has been a passion for us, such as St. Patrick's Day Parade, hosting Jingle Bell Ball toy drives, initiating, chairing and building several "St. Jude Dream Homes" raising millions of dollars in support of St. Jude Children's Research. Children's Hospital's Daughters, Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and ForKids, Inc. are some of our favorite local charities.  I currently serve on the board of Heritage Bank, St. Jude Regional Board, Norfolk Convention and Visitors Foundation.  In our lifetime, we poured our hearts and souls into our business and in the community, in which we live and it shows!  We have become the most prominent real estate company in our community, which was once full of blight and now has a bright new future.  In 2006, I received the HRRA, REALTORS' LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for changing the face of Hampton Roads. It was an honor to be recognized by my peers in the industry and will continue to move forward as this industry grows.  of King Hospital
