I am an interior decorator, entrepreneur, blogger, newspaper columnist, single mom, black belt bargain hunter avid DIY-er, music lover, foodie, wine aficionado, avid party-thrower, Diet Coke addict.

In 2010 I turned a life long passion for interior design and a fascination with real estate into Staged with Style.

After running my own business for over 10 years, I was feeling burned out. I was really struggling trying to figure out what I wanted to do next, when I realized the answer was right in front of me.

I've been helping friends decorate their houses for over 20 years.  In 2009 I got my Realtor's license. While there were parts of it I loved, overall it wasn't a great fit for me. In the spring of 2010 I launched a decorating and DIY blog - Frugal & Fabulous Design - to chronicle my own projects and network with other DIY-ers.

When I helped some friends stage their home and got rave reviews from the homeowners, their Realtor, AND the other Realtors showing the house, a light bulb went on.

I LOVE helping people show off their homes to the best advantage....and I love it even more when they are able to sell their house quickly so they can move on to the next chapter of their lives.
