, I was born smack in the middle of our country in the great state of Kansas and like the tornado that swooped up Dorothy, I have whirled around the United States! After living and working in 45 states, I found paradise in Southwest Florida and live on Manasota Key in Englewood with my husband Obie, our dog, "Buster".
My community involvement includes serving as the 2020 President, Englewood Area Board of Realtors, 2021 President for Women's Council of Realtors®, 2018 President, Englewood Board of Realtors®, Realtor of The Year 2017, RPAC "Golden R" Major Investor, RPAC President's Circle Investor, Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) and an advocate and participant of EABOR'S Outreach Committee for the community, Vice-President of the South Manasota Sandpiper Key Association and a Lector and Eucharistic minister at St. Raphael's Catholic Church.
Working in the marine industry for years, I found "second" homes (cruisers and pleasure yachts, runabouts and fishing boats) for people who love the water as much as I do. Now, I'm taking that experience and finding our customers their perfect "land-based" dwellings! I established The Kathi "O" Group in October of 2013. Teresa Stines and Brooke Reinertsen are the team's Buyer's Specialists. They assist buyers by helping them find a home that meets their needs in the shortest amount of time and negotiating the best possible price. Rebecca Sexton is the team's Executive Assistant, Listing and Transaction Coordinator and Kathi O's assistant.
