Hi, my name is Kathy and I live in Holliston MA with my husband and two children Rosie and Charlie. I have lived in the metro west area for most of my life and moved to Holliston 15 years ago, when my oldest Rosie was 2 years old. We moved to Holliston because it was very affordable and has an excellent and unique school system. I had grown up closer to Boston and when I first drove through Holliston I was immediately captured by the charm of the antique homes and buildings that line the center of town. Holliston is the quintessential enchanting small New England town.

Even now(2009) you can purchase a home in the mid to low$300's that is in move in condition, has a great backyard, three bedrooms, a couple of bathrooms, a garage, and that"it" factor. Holliston offers a great deal to the home buyer; affordability, small town charm, commute time to Boston, Providence, Worcester all in 45 minutes, and excellent award winning schools.

Holliston has three programs offered in elementary school. They are Tradition (what most towns offer), Montessori, and French Immersion. All programs are great and offer their particular benefits and appeal. There is one elementary school, one middle school and one high school. All three schools have excellent facilities and have been rebuilt and renovated. Holliston offers great programs in sports, drama, and music.

I have been a real estate agent for the last nine years and greatly enjoy my work. In the end I do hopefully sell a house but that is not what I do on a regular base. I make myself an expert on the homes that are on the market in the metro west area.
