2009 WILL BE FINE! I'm sure many of you are savoring positive quotes of your own as we move into a new year. I have been a Realtor in Lexington and Central Kentucky for 5 years. It is my second career following my retirement as a college professor at Eastern Kentucky University in nearby Richmond.
It has been exciting venturing into the world of an independent contractor. In Kentucky, Realtors are held to a high standard in terms of prepartion and performance. However, many of the principles are the same: building and nurturing relationships, knowledge is power, honesty and integrity above all else.
My formal education includes:
College:Doctorate in Education from the University of Kentucky
Realtor Designations: Accredited Buyer Representative, and e-Pro Technology certified, Seniors Real Estate Specialist.
As a resident of Lexington for over 35 years, I am very familiar with the properties and amenities in Lexington and Central Kentucky. As an educator, I want to make sure my clients are well prepared and know what to expect in the home transaction process. I work in residential, farm, and investment properties.
I work with all buyers and sellers including first time buyers, seniors, singles and families. I am very experienced in relocation and referrals.
Currently, I serve as Chair of the International Task Force of the Lexington Bluegrass Assocation of Realtors. I am very interested in assisting individuals buy properties in the US and other countries. I participated in a World Trade Center Mission to China in the fall of 2007 and am in the process of completing my designation as a Certified International Property Specialist.
