Buying or selling a home is an emotional process. It may involve your memories in the house you are sellling or your dreams about the house you may buy. I take the time to really get to know who I am working with, get to know what your needs are, your family's lifestyle, and what you may all be dreaming about. I am here to help you through the emotions and find exactly what it is that you are looking for.
My career in real estate didn’t start the conventional way. After obtaining undergraduate and graduate degrees in graphic design and publishing, I worked in the advertising design industry for a number of years, taught design at the university level, worked at design studios, and eventually started her own firm. I have created advertising campaigns for a variety of corporations, and developed branding strategies for corporate identities, products and concepts. Over the last fifteen years I have developed an expertise in marketing, advertising, website development and e-commerce. She not only understands the value and importance of today’s technology in the marketing process, but has the knowledge and experience to implement that technology in creating an aggressive and effective marketing campaign.
Always searching for new challenges, I felt it was time for a change. I realized that I had developed an interest in the real estate industry through involvement in promoting my husband’s home building business, one of the area’s premiere and most respected home building companies, DiRisio Builders (http://www.dirisiobuilders.com). I made the logical conclusion that I could add value to her husband’s business, and to real estate in general, by channeling my marketing and advertising experience toward selling a new product, homes.
It is important to note that I am not focusing solely on DiRisio Builders. My overall goal is to develop a complete real estate service through Realty 3, offering expertise to both buyers and sellers of new and existing homes.
I am a member of the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors along with the Women's Council of Realtors.

Having had a career in advertising and marketing along with owning my own design studio and dabbling as a professional artist, I can use my experience to help you find the right buyer for your home.
It is essential to capture someone’s attention in an instant; analysis of the market and how to appeal to a target audience is critical. I know how to effectively position your home in the market and how to show it to its full potential through ads, mailings, and the internet, virtual tours, through websites (regional and national) and my blog.

My background in the arts and advertising coupled with my experience in representing a premiere home builder of the area enables me to know the exacting details of home construction, in both new and existing homes. I will use my knowledge to help you make an educated decision whether you are buying or selling.
As a side note, I am also an avid equestrian. I know and understand what it is that horse lovers want when looking for a home or property for horses. I love checking out barns!
