I am a Realtor. Some people, when they hear those words take an involuntary step back, as if I am about to try to sell them a used car. If you are at all like me though, you lean in and begin to ask questions.
I am passionate about Real Estate and the whole idea of being intentional about how we inhabit our space. Whether it is a 5 bedroom house or a studio apartment our home will tell a thousand stories about us to anyone interested in listening. I hope you will come along on this journey with me. In addition to providing guidance and expertise in the up-front processes of buying and selling, Kelly is exceptionally skilled at managing the back-end of transactions, from offer through closing, to ensure as smooth a process as possible. This has become extremely important as Real Estate transactions have become increasingly complicated in the last several years.
Beyond helping local buyers and sellers, Kelly assists many families with their corporate relocations, both into and out of the Chicago area. In addition to the more traditional relocation work, Kelly often partners with Recruiters and Senior HR Executives during the recruitment process to help introduce potential new hires to the Chicago Area.
Kelly entered Real Estate after a 15 year career in corporate America. The last 7 of those years were spent as a Human Resources Director for a Fortune 100 company – where she honed her skills on a global level. There could be no better training ground than this for work as a Real Estate professional. As someone who has spent her entire professional life guiding individuals through complex decisions with empathy and professionalism, she now continues along that path as she partners with individuals and families throughout the process of buying and selling their homes.
Kelly has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota – Minneapolis and a Masters Degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison. She is fluent in conversational Spanish.
Kelly currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Sarah’s Inn in Oak Park and is an active parent with Irving Elementary School in Oak Park.
