About Me
I'm originally from and grew up in a quaint beach town called San Clemente in Southern California. I spent most of my youth and growing up years surfing at the beach, training others and competing in beach competitions & triathlons while I worked as a California State Beach Lifeguard for 15 years during the summers. The winter months were spent working in the television and film industry and attending community college and then later a State college. I received a Bachelor of Science in Physiology, Kinesiology, Physical Education and Sports Medicine with a minor in Nutrition from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1991. I then landed a position as an associate executive manager and personal trainer at a large corporate fitness facility in Irvine California. It was in those early years of life guarding that it became clear to me I loved working with people from all types of backgrounds. That is why being a real estate agent is the perfect career for me. I discovered the Gorge in 1996 while becoming an avid windsurfer and then moved to Hood River in 2002. I'm a very active person and I take advantage and enjoy many of the outdoor sports and activities that the Columbia Gorge offers. Windsurfing, kite boarding, skiing, running, horseback riding, snowboarding, kayaking, hiking, swimming, and mountain biking. My other passions include the practice of yoga, amateur photography and community involvement. I must not leave out the most significant and important part of my life today. It is the pure joy and fulfillment I find have found in being an active and involved parent to my daughter, Neilly. And along with our longtime faithful sidekick, a sweet golden/lab named Karat, the 3 of us have found Hood River a wonderful place to call our home. For me, I truly enjoy helping people settle here and share in this wonderful experience of calling The Gorge home. It is an amazing place to live, raise a family, work and play!
