Three little girls, three active dogs, one spoiled cat, and a goofy husband. That is the life I lead and love. I am blessed to have such a "full" life and my Real Estate business is one facet that has brought a sense of clarity and purpose for me. I find extreme gratification in knowing that my business can help a family in transition and change the lives of many. There is a certain fulfillment that comes with providing a service that touches peoples lives. It's a humbling thought how a simple stucture of inanimate buiding materials can provide such security, safety, and solidarity that is so vital to a persons well being.
My passion for Arcitecture has led me down many paths. One of which is my Real Estate business. I am very interested in the Green Building initiative and am persuing this knowledge everyday in my business. Residential Green building is emerging across the country and it's an extremely interesting and exciting concept. My interest in the field led me to obtain my LEED accredidation in 2006 in New Construction. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. LEED is a nationally recognized rating sytem for design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED for Homes is an area of great interest for me. Benefits of a LEED home include lower energy and water bills; reduced greenhouse gas emissions; and less exposure to mold, mildew and other indoor toxins. The net cost of owning a LEED home is comparable to that of owning a conventional home.
