Laura Austin is a licensed Realtor® and the founding Broker of REALTY TEXAS LCA, INC., in The Woodlands/Conroe/Lake Conroe/Willis area specializing in residential properties for buyers, sellers, and investors in local markets. Her other areas of expertise include Buyers Representation, investment properties and short sale transactions. She has over three decades of experience in the Real Estate industry.

Laura is an active member of the Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the Greater Houston Builder Association.

When she was 18, she moved from San Diego to Los Angeles to attend college at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandizing. Eventually, had jobs where she was able to travel these beautiful United States in her Motorhome and had a blast! Laura started her Real Estate Career in New Home Sales in January of 1985. She earned her Real Estate license in 1987, and holds numerous Real Estate Designations and Certifications, and she is the recipient of multiple awards for outstanding performance.

 Laura is committed to the principles of  honesty and integrity. To give her clients the best service, she believes in educating and informing, so the client is well prepared for the transactions. She continually exceeds the minimum “Mandatory Continuing Education” requirements set by the Texas Real Estate Commission.

Laura has recently been approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission as a TREC Instructor to offer Continuing Education for Credit Hours to other Texas Licensees.

When she is not providing outstanding service to her clients, Laura spends time with her husband CW Austin, of 22 years, Sewing, Quilting, Tatting and making another attempt to learn the flute.

Background Information

Laura was born and raised in Lemon Grove, California

 She began her career in sales at an early age working as a model and then as a promotional specialist. Eventually, she became a New Home Sales Counselor for numerous new developments in the Houston and surrounding areas.

Laura earned her real estate license in 1987. She started her real estate career in Houston working with P.R.O.S. Real Estate, specializing in Residential Real Estate sales. She has been affiliated with Century 21, RE/Max, Realty Associates and most recently with Keller Williams in Conroe, Texas. On January 1, 2015 opened her own Brokerage, REALTY TEXAS LCA, INC.
