I absolutely LOVE living in New Braunfels, Texas. And, I love selling real estate here! One of the big draws for me when I moved to San Marcos in 1998 to attend Texas State University was the beauty of the area.  I also fell in love with the people, culture and laid-back lifestyle that encompass this entire area that sits as a gateway to the Texas Hill Country. 

 On any given day you can walk into an old dance hall and hear a great band or make a new friend. Located almost exactly halfway between Austin and San Antonio TX, we are located 30 minutes to two of the fastest growing cities in the nation. In fact, our neighboring town, San Marcos, IS the fastest growing city in the U.S.!  It is a welcome escape from the big city to come home to a small town where you can enjoy culture, activities and a sense of community that are so special and unique to the towns.  Yet, if you want access to some of the state's best shopping, dining, music and metropolitan activities, you can find it just 30 minutes north or south of New Braunfels.  I like to say "We have it all here!" and it is because we truly do.  We have world renowned festivals like Wurstfest, a top-rated water park, Schlitterbahn, miles of rivers, an amazing university system, museums, entertainment and fantastic dining options.   If you love shopping, we have an outlet mall that is visited almost as much as the Alamo. We have some of the deepest history and traditions in all of Texas.  San Marcos is believed to be one of the oldest, continuously-inhabited towns in North America. New Braunfels is steeped in rich German heritage that is reflected in the many buildings, food, language and towns around the area.
