About Lisa: I was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Va. I grew up walking to the 2400 Diner for dinner several times a week. I still think their Baklava is the best I have ever had! We lived on Caroline Street when I was little---so walking to Carl’s is definitely one of my fondest memories! I am happy to say that I played on the Paul’s Bakery softball team and still drive out of my way to buy their delicious donuts and chocolate cake with raspberry filling! My sister and I used to take dance lessons in the dance studio across the street from Goolricks—we LOVED walking there after dance class to have a chocolate shakes!! Another very special memory I have of this wonderful town, is having Sunday Brunch at Hot Shops. That is where I learned about crapes—yummy!! I could go on and on about all of the amazing places to go in Fredericksburg! Why would anyone want to live anywhere else? My husband joined the Army out of High School and we were stationed in Fort Lewis, WA until 1996. In fact, my mother-in-law and I drove from Fredericksburg to Seattle in the mega storm of 1994. That was a bonding experience---to say the least. We went to AAA with a map and a highlighter to blot our route! Hard to believe people drove without Google map or a GPS! I think that would have taken the fun out of it! Many funny stories came out of that trip---that would not have happened with a GPS! Not to brag, but the only time we got lost was in a parking garage in Montana! Chris and I have been married for 20 years and have three incredible children. My family is my life and I am so very thankful for them! Raising our children in Fredericksburg was the easiest decision we made. It is a lot easier raising children where we were raised. I remember signing my oldest son up for Kindergarten. His principal came out to introduce himself to me---and he was my Middle School PE teacher. His art teacher was my high school Science teacher---and so on and so forth! His parents knowing everyone in town was not always a good thing for him! He couldn’t get away with much! In 2002 my girlfriend and I bought a Kinderdance® Franchise. We have had the pleasure of teaching over two-thousand area children ballet and tap for the past 11 years. This was one of the most rewarding careers I could have ever had! I appreciate each and every parent that entrusted us with their children and helping our small company be such a huge success. Which brings me to the next chapter in my life---Real Estate! Both mine and my husband’s families have been investors in our community for over 40 years. I have been passionate about Real Estate for over a decade. So, becoming a REALTOR ® was a very easy decision. I am very familiar with our market, our communities, our school systems, and our towns. My background is in business management, advertising, and marketing. I pride myself on being considerate, reliable, and professional.
