I have enjoyed living in many parts of the United States. I'm an Idaho native, but have also lived in Mississippi, New Mexico, and Los Angeles. Living in different parts of the country has given me an appreciation of what my clients must consider when moving in or out of this area. My undergraduate degree is in biochemistry from Boise State Univeriversity and I spent 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions in that industry, I had a chance to escape in 2003 and create the life I really enjoy.
I love to stay current on real estate education and have my CRS designation, my e-PRO certification, and my GRI designation. In 2009, I earned by Certified Distressed Property Expert designation to better serve my clients dealing with short sales. I'm also active in Women's Council of Realtors and currently serve as President for the North San Diego Chapter. It's important to be involved locally in this real estate community to offer the best level of service to my clients. I practice real estate with my husband and we enjoy bouncing ideas off each other when we are writing contracts and negotiating with the "other side." It's important to me to very, very good at what I do. That means I take time to meet with my clients and to ask them a lot of questions to best understand their needs and wants. The more time I spend up front with a client, the more pleasant and easy I can make the buying or selling process for them.
I specialize in listing homes that sell! In this market, it is really important to provide quality infomation that helps a seller select a price that works now! I also work with an exceptional stager to help homes get ready for that very best first impression with a buyer. I have a caudry of professionals (painters, handyman, cleaners) than can help add the finishing touches to make a home stand out.
When working with buyers, I take care to review the contract with them so that they know exactly what they are signing.
Thoroughly enjoy real estate & practice it full time! When not "real estating" enjoy time at local sites such as San Diego Wild Animal Park and the Carlsbad Flower Fields. Lots to love in San Diego!
