Get to Know Lindsay DuBois
I am a lifetime resident of the Hudson Valley and a seasoned world traveler. Prior to my real estate career I worked for many years in human services from International Flight Attendant to Clinical Social Worker. It is a pleasure to assign those professional people skills to the exciting world of real estate. I've been very successful whether it's about understanding a buyer's needs, pricing a seller's home to the market or managing the negotiation process. I also love the thrill of the hunt for that special place to call home. My entire career history has been about getting people home in some form or another. I find that the relationships I build continue way beyond the sale because of the trust and friendship that develops in the process. In my first year of real estate I was honored with the designation, "Rookie of the Year" . In my second year I was already a multi-million dollar producer. In my third year I became an Associate Broker. People find that I do naturally what is required of a real estate professional. I listen to and care about your dream and I have the enthusiasm and skills to make that dream a reality. I am also old enough to understand the meaning of a work ethic. I speak Portuguese because I was born in Brazil and have also lived and visited there for periods of time. I was raised bi-culturally and enjoy the opportunity to speak Portuguese. I am also familiar with sign language and deaf culture as my son is hard of hearing and we signed with him as he developed his language skills. Being a natural linguist I love the opportunity to communicate with foreign speakers of all languages and have a personal understanding of the immigrant experience. I have lived in the New Paltz area with my family for over 25 years. We love it here and frequently remind ourselves that we should stay home for vacation because we have it all here. I enjoy practicing yoga, kayaking, ethnic dancing, visiting Manhattan and taking walks with my Welsch Terrier. I look forward to working with you!
