I've lived in El Paso County, Colorado since 1985 and was born and raised in Iowa.  I worked at the Keller Williams office for nearly 3 years before becoming a licensed agent.  Prior to that I worked at a bank as a loan processor, customer accounts and branch manager for 3 years.  Prior to that I was in the HMO world for 18 years and had a variety of positions.  My last years at the HMO were as a Data Analyst in the Electronic Data Interchange department.   In my early working days, I worked in a chiropractic office, feed store and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.  All of my jobs have helped me to prepare myself for entering the real estate world as an agent. 

I completed the GRI series of courses on December 3, 2010.  What a great series of courses they were and I'm so glad that I have the designation and the classes are great for my knowledge base.  I have completed the one-day SFR designation.  I enjoy the continual learning required in the real estate business.   September 2013, just completed the 2 day Certified Negotiation Expert class and what a great class it was.  What I learned will be most helpful in my real esate negotiations for clients but in everyday living as well.
