I was licensed as a Las Cruces real estate agent in 1992 with a previous 14-year background working as a legal assistant in many facets of law.  My grandfather, Al Socolofsky, pioneered the first real estate company in Las Cruces, New Mexico in 1947 and my mother, Elaine Szalay, followed in his footsteps.  For more than six years I was teamed with my mother and together we were consistently top producers for Dona Ana County for the last several years and were named 2005 Realtors of the Year by the Readers Choice Awards.

On a personal note, my husband, Eric and I love Las Cruces and are proud to call  Las Cruces home.  Las Cruces has so much to offer individuals and families. We are surrounded by incredible beauty and a rich history that is evident in so many of the quaint districts peppered throughout our southern region - not to mention the abundance of sunshine throughout the year.

Eric and I have a chocolate and a black lab along with two unruly cats.  We love gardening as much as cooking and my husband is an avid sailor.  My passion is photography - especially of people.  In the mid 90s, I spent some time in Quezaltenango, Guatemala and Todos Santos, where I learned the language and  took many photos of the amazing culture.  
 

I recently received the Quality Service Certified Platinum award in recognition of earning 100% client service satisfaction in 2009.  In June of 2010, I also received, "The Best In Business" award, only given to 250 out of more than 30,000 participants in North America.
