Rent Smart is a new company with a big commitment to deliver unparalled customer service in the field of residential property management. Based in Missoula and launched in April 2012 by Tom and Mary Hurd, Rent Smart is positioned to provide superior service by focusing its’ scope of services to select residential properties located in Missoula, Montana.

While our competition takes a broader approach in both scope and service areas, we maintain that a specialty boutique style of services will provide a distinct improvement in quality of service that you should expect in a Missoula property management company. 

Rent Smart is a family owned and operated company, with over 15 years of experience in managing our own investment properties. We pledge to manage your property as if it were our own.

We service select residential properties the City of Missoula and bordering neighborhoods in Missoula County.  We keep our service area focused to respond quicker to our clients and customers needs.

While many of our Missoula property management competitors service the Bitterroot through Hamilton, Potomac, Seeley Lake, Arlee, Polson, Petty Creek and Alberton, we just don’t believe we can provide service to those areas and be effective.
