BUSINESS HISTORY:
Michael Thomas graduated from East Tennessee State University with a major in Communications and a minor in Business in the Spring of 1997. A couple of months later, he decided real estate was a business he wanted to persue. So in the Fall of the same year, he completed all requirements and passed the State of Tennessee real estate exam to become an affiliate broker. He also received his Virginia real estate license around the same time.
Michael began his real estate career in commercial real estate, learning about commercial sales and property management. In 2004, Michael decided to make the move to the residential side of the real estate business. Once working in residential real estate, Michael earned the GRI, ABR, SRES, and CRS designations to better serve his clients.
In 2007, Michael earned his Associate Broker's license in both Tennessee and Virginia. And in February of 2008, he became the Principal Broker of a new firm, A Team Real Estate Professionals, in Kingsport, TN. Currently Principal Broker for between 24-26 great agents.

Carmel, Church Hill, and Surgoinsville) areas in Tennessee and the Washington County (Abingdon and Bristol), Lee County (Jonesville), and Wise County (Big Stone Gap, Norton, and Wise) areas in Virginia.
