For the past 3 years I have been trying to figure out ways to revolutionize the buying and selling process for my clients, and I keep coming back to the realization that I need treat my clients as friends. This doesn't sound like a mind blowing concept, but if you really think about it you'll see that I'm onto something with this thought.
For most people their home is the single biggest financial investment they will ever make. Would you trust your money to a stranger you found in the yellow pages? I hope not! I get 95% of the clients I work with as direct referrals from past clients many who I now call my friends. The transition from client to friend happens very naturally in most cases because it is so important for us to know and understand each other while we are working together. I take great pride in matching my clients with properties that are perfect for their families and unique situations. The only way I can be sure we've found the right place is if I really have taken the time to get to know you as an idividual first. My service to you doesn't ever end with settlement. On a personal note, I live in Elizabethtown with my husband, Jim, and our three sons, David, Cameron and AJ. We are involved with Hope Community Church and the Etown Boys Club. As a family we enjoy all sports, camping, boating, and the beach. In my little free time I enjoy baking, reading, scrapbooking, and waterskiing. I also enjoy traveling with Grand Cayman and Switzerland being my favorite destinations.
Although I work with buyers and sellers my passion is in working with buyers, especially first time and relocating buyers. I also enjoy working with people relocating to cental PA, another situation that can be potentially terrrifying! The first time we meet I make it a point to not try to sell you anything, instead I work as a tour guide. I feel strongly that you can't decide where you want to live when you don't even know where you are! We see the sights, look at information about local towns, and answer the question you have about the area. After you decide where you want to live I'll help you find where to also eat, shop, see a movie, and take your car to be tuned up. My goal is for you to not only love your house but to also have met people and feel acclimated to your town.
For sellers I provide MLS exposure in 7 counties. I also feature showcase homes on realtor.com and remax.com. I believe that in our busy world people buy homes mentally before ever stepping foot inside them. We will work together to make sure that your home is properly priced from day one to sell in the shortest time possible. I practice home staging with my sellers, take tons of pictures, and use detailed write ups so when people view your home online they want to make it their own! I also provide move out cleaning for my sellers since on moving day cleaning is the last thing you need to be thinking about!
