I am Mick Phillips, an Ashe County Native. Growing up in the mountains, I have enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of this area since childhood. I am a graduate of the former Beaver Creek High School. My wife, Sherrie, is also from Ashe and has been teaching school here for over 20 years. We have two children, Emily and Sam, which are both actively involved in school sports. I am also a graduate of Gardner Webb University. I have been in the Real Estate profession for 8 years. I am also a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, the highest level of license issued by the NC Appraisal Board. I have recently started up an appraisal company, Parkway Appraisals, and currently service Ashe, Alleghany, Avery, Watauga, and Wilkes Counties. Prior to my Real Estate Career I spent 15 years with UPS holding various management positions.
