Get to Know Mike Campbell

My formal education: I graduated from Shawnee High School in Louisville Kentucky. I paid for my college education saving money from my paper route, working as a life guard for the city of Louisville and with a band and orchestra workship.  I graduated in 4 years from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond Kentucky. I graduated with a mathematics major, an English minor and a teaching certificate.

My working education: Clarksville, mathematics teacher; Louisville, sales representative for IBM date processing, sales representative for Charlie Wilson's Appliance Company, Cooper Distributing, Trend Companies of Kentucky and sales manager for Charlie Wilson's Appliance Company; Crestwood, sale representative for Stoess Manor Shop; Jeffersonville, production manager for Indiana Ordinance works and realtor with RE/MAX FIRST.

My family consist of my lovely wife of 43 years, 2 wonderful children, an adult daughter and son, 4 terrific grandchildren, 3 boys and a girl, and my golden retriever, Murphy.  

Certifications

     Salesman and teacher have been my main vocations. I love working with people. I have been in real estate since February of 2011. So I'm new in this business and have time to put myself and all of the RE/MAX resources and advantages to work for buyers and sellers.  RE/MAX FIRST was my selection because of the extensive training that RE/MAX offers and the special help that the broker and sales manager make available. Having done some management work I know that continued training is important. At IBM they said that the only constant was change. Look how much the real estate market has changed. And yes I am still trying to keep up with the technological changes too.  

     In recent years, I have been an associate member of the Louisville and Southern Indiana Home Builder's Associations. That has given me a good relationship with area builders, developers and subcontractors, plus a good understanding of the home building process. I have chaired both the Home Expo and the Parade of Homes committees and worked with many realtors on these events over the years.  

     What do I possibly offer? I have lived in southern Indiana for 43 years. I know the current builders and subcontractors. I know the schools. I know the newer subdivisions. I like working with people. I love southern Indiana and the people that live here. I will work hard with you to help you buy or sell a home.

     What does RE/MAX offer? They offer me RE/MAX University with videos and courses to help me to better serve my clients.
