Maureen Korthas, Michigan Premier Real Estates Managing Broker, has been a licensed real estate professional for over 20 years. Maureen is responsible for coaching, training, and managing the daily activities of Michigan Premier Real Estate, Inc., and All Star Real Estate Metro. Many years of experience allows her to provide clients and associates with a valuable perspective of community, dedication, and success.

Maureen began her career 25 years ago in the civil engineering/land surveying business as the office manager and designer of many commercial developments, platted subdivisions, site condominiums, multi-unit developments and single family residential site plans.  To compliment the knowledge she gained from that industry, she acquired her real estate salespersons license in 1991, listing, marketing and selling the properties for her clients. 

In 2006, when the foreclosure market became apparent to the general public, and the construction industry began to falter, Maureen began to focus her career toward real estate in the REO industry while earning her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a major focus in marketing and finance, from South University.  Her broker (who had been the Managing Broker for the REO Department of a large local real estate brokerage for 10 years) formed Michigan Premier Real Estate, Inc., in which she became a principal and owner.  Michigan Premier Real Estate, Inc., is now a woman owned and operated, minority business.

In addition to obtaining certifications in short sales and REO sales, Maureen is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Michigan Association of Realtors (MAR) and the Metropolitan Consolidated Association of Realtors (MCAR).  As a life-long resident of the Detroit Metropolitan area, Maureen has an extensive knowledge of Michigan’s diverse real estate market.  She currently is marketing properties in the Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Livingston (eastern) and Genesee (southern) counties.
