As I post this I am entering my 26th year in the Mortgage Industry and second year in the Insurance Industry. I have worked in all aspects of the mortgage industry; Management, Underwriting, Secondary Marketing. The common attributes that I have brought to each of these positions are Honesty and Sincerity. I offer additional value to my clients by handling their Homeowners, Auto and Commercial Insurance needs as well!!
I value every client, every co-worker and every employee and this I feel has been the secret to my success. I feel that I offer a "you first" view and have always felt that my success is only achieved with the success of others.
My Degree in Education (James Madison University '87) makes it simple to explain the mortgage industry to those who are not involved with mortgages on a daily basis. I enjoy client interaction and feedback and love the challenges offered by today's mortgage market.
Having participated in all aspects of the industry, I feel I offer a unique point of view. I have had exposure to all programs, some that have stood the test of time IE: FHA/VA, Conventional and Reverse Mortgages.and others that have seen better days (IE: Option ARM's) my experiences will allow me to show you all subtleties of each and every program that you may consider.

| Steve, as I mentioned before we have been business friends for a long time, I want to take this moment to Thank You for the professional courtesy you showed in referring me to Eric @ Wells. You were clear in your reasoning as to way you could not assist me on my HARP refinance, but handed me off to a good guy. You are still my mortgage guy!! | After being told by another mortgage person "come and see me in a year" we were referred to Stephen. I spoke with him via telephone and he suggested that we visit him in his office. Truthfully Stephen said upfront that there may actually be nothing that he could offer, but was willing to take the time to go through our scenario. We reviewed all of the info that he asked us to bring and not only was he able to offer an approval, We closed on our new home on Friday January 14th! | Steve, We have known each other for a long time. With my business and my business banking with Bank of America I have always simply went to them for mortgages. Well, in this case they not only took 8 months to reject the loan, they worked nowhere near as hard as you did to get my mortgage completed. Without going over the details (again!!) my wife and and my in-laws and I say thank you. |

| This may seem like an odd endorsement as we are commending Stephen for doing nothing! Stephen visited our home and sat with us to discuss our refinance. After our Q&A meeting it was evident that refinancing our home simply did not make sense from a cost versus return perspective. We had spoken to a couple of others who were "gung-ho" about our refinancing, but once we met with Stephen we had a clearer picture and understanding of our options. We all agreed and based on that we jokingly said "hey Stephen, thanks for nothing!" |

| Hi Stephen! Ken and I just want to say a big THANK YOU for everything you did for us. You made everything so easy and simple. When we went to closing today it went very well. The loan was less than we thought and our mortgage payment is going to be even less than you said and we are still getting some money back (I can't really figure that one out since we did not pay one thing out of pocket!! :) ) I just wanted to let you know everything went great and thanks for getting us exactly what we were looking for. Before we called you I had made a call to a mortgage company to inquire about refinancing and they said that what I was looking to do could not be done, yet you did it exactly the way we wanted!
