I have been in mortgage financing for over 30 years. I have owned and operated The Mortgage Center in Martinsburg, WV for 28 years.

As a mortgage professional I have two main goals: (1) Provide my customers with safe financing options, where they can choose the best loan for themselves. (2) Continue to be the most experienced and educated mortgage originator in the state. In January of 2008, I became a Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist, (CRMS).

The Mortgage Center, has achieved numerous awards over the years for excellence in financing. For the last several years, we have received awards from the West Virginia Housing Development Fund and the USDA, as a top producer.

Personally, I have been involved with legislative and regulatory issues concerning the mortgage industry for over 15 years. I have testified before the U.S. House of Representatives (Financial Service Committee) and the U.S. Senate Banking Committee numerous times. I also meet with CFPB, HUD, OMB, FannieMae, FreddieMac, FTC and several other regulators on an ongoing basis.

In July of 2008, I was sworn in as President of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. 

In January of 2010, I became President of the National Association of Independent Housing Professionals. www.naihp.org
