Get to Know Melanie Powers
I am the owner/photographer of Powerhouse Tours. A virtual Tour Provider for the Indianapolis and surrounding areas. I received a Telecommunications degree from Ball State University. Immediately after college I worked at WRTV Channel 6 in production and engineering doing everything from working in the control room, to operating cameras during the news, to managing local live on location shoots. After the TV Station, I went to work at Hanke Photography in Plainfield, Indiana. There I learned much about photography and what constitutes great composition. Most recently I have been a realtor with Remax in the Indianapolis and Greenwood areas.
I decided to start my virtual tour business because I was looking for something to supplement my Real Estate income and it occurred to me that I could use my photography and production background along with my real estate experience to provide a superior virtual tour for any entity that wanted to showcase their facility or listing.
