Experience - I've been in the Mortgage business since 1999. I even married into the business (wife is an underwriter) and have seen a huge amount of change and turnover in companies and people. I'm a knowledge seeker and love to find out the "why" in our world. I work hard to keep up to date on the rapid changes in our industry and if I don't know the answer I'll go to the decision maker to find out "why". Clients who have used me can see a difference and know that I have there best interests at heart.
Communication - A vacation wouldn't be the same if I didn't take my blackberry with me or answer a phone call on the farm in Wisconsin. My team works with all parties to ensure that all deadlines are met, documents are collected and signed and we get to the closing table on time.
Professionalism - A core of ethics and honesty make my business sucessful.
Chad was born in Denver and is a Colorado Native other than living in Dallas Texas, and Northern France shortly during his college years. He loves what Colorado offers and doesn't plan on leaving his roots. He went to Columbine High school and then to Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado where he double majored in Economics and Tourism & Resort Management. Chad graduated with honors from FLC, and enjoyed many seasons working for the ski and hotel industry. After a short internship in Dallas Texas, and working for a financial planner in Denver, Chad entered the mortgage business in 1999, partnering up with LendingTree.com.
In 2003, Chad decided to get his Real Estate license both out of demand and his desire to better service his clients. His passion is to better facilitate the buying and selling transaction by offering "full service" mortgage and real estate services. In turn there is a synergy of knowing both sides and passing the knowledge onto all parties. He understands the complex relationships with all parties and knows how the transaction should flow. Due to regulatory changes in the lending markets, Chad decided to deactivate his Real Estate licence in 2009 and focus on just his mortgage planning services.
Technology is a wonderful thing. Today, you the consumer have more opportunity to educate, shop, and even name your own price when it comes to mortgages and real estate. Chad doesn't stand to stop this movement, but instead nurtures, and helps with its progression. He uses technology to the maximum his services and it in turn, it helps with communication, time management, delegation, and simplifying a once very complicated process.
Chad is not a discount broker, nor a salesperson that will place you into a loan that is wrong for your goals. Instead, he is a honest and sincere consultant who will help you through every step of your transaction and will stay in contact with you for a lifetime, hoping that you will continue to keep me in mind when friends or family need advice.
Chad and his wife, Stacey have two sons named Zachary and Carson. Zack is all boy and loves to play ball, climb, run outside and build legos. Carson is growing up fast and want's to do everything Zack does.
Zack is becoming a great swimmer like his dad and a Packer fan like his mother. Zachary and Carson are the love of their life. The Bergman's also have a cat named Shadow. As cats do, she has the best life just hanging around the house all day. Chad loves anything to do with the outdoors. He plays a decent round of golf, jet skis, mountain bikes and backpacks as much as possible.The Bergman family enjoys taking vacations to Wisconsin where Stacey's family lives on a 100+ acre farm. Driving a John Deer tractor and tending to the cattle helps put things into perspective when living in the city so long. Among all the short weekend trips to the mountains, they love to take one big vacation a year to someplace new. The smaller the crowds the better!
