I am a Registered Home Inspector with CAHPI(BC) since March, 2001.  I deliver comprehensive visual inspections of varying sized & aged single family homes, townhouses, condos, apartments, commercial/warehouse properties and their components.  Each inspection also includes a digital report with photos, illustrations, recommendations, implications and online links to further technical information.

Previously I was doing business as New Look Renovations in the home & office renovation business; self-run operation including sales and marketing, design, estimating, report writing, project co-ordination, financial and operations record keeping, and renovation and carpentry duties.

I was an inspector with CMHC in Vancouver. Duties included: examine and approve plans, perform inspections, prepare reports for new single, semi-detached and multiple housing projects; held past level Two B.I.A.B.C. certification; also perform inspections, write specifications, review bids and inspect completed work in various municipalities under Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program or R.R.A.P.

I received my Diploma in Building Technology from BCIT, which was an intensive two-year diploma in Building Technology, Economics Major: courses include: Building Construction and Structural Design, Project Management and Contract Administration, Drafting, Industrial Management, Construction Specifications and Contracts, Estimating, Codes and Regulations; standing: honours.

My interests are photography, baseball, reading, travel, computers, biking & hiking.
