| Words cannot describe Mr. Sean Blanchette! Sean was a real blessing to our family...Sean is a man of his word. Sean promised me that he would work very hard to help me find a new place to live. My credit is on the mend so I knew that Sean had to work double hard to get us a home. I told Sean that living in the Extended Stay hotel was getting pretty costly and asked if he could help us find a home. Well Sean made it happen. | I was a first time buyer, with no family in the area so when I looked for a Realtor I wanted someone who would explain this to me as we went along and to be honest. I had no knowledge of the process; Sean provided a lot of information before, during, and after the sale. Looking for a home was a long process, Sean was patient with me, at no point did he try to rush me or get me to buy a house the I was not 100% happy with, and he was always available to show me more properties and to and to answer questions. End the end I found my dream home and more. I would recommend Sean to anyone who is interested in buying or selling a home. | We consider ourselves knowledgeable buyers who've studied all aspects of the DC area real estate market as a hobby. We looked for many years to find just the right house -- not only a house we love but also one priced right to give us some protection in this unpredictable market. We worked with a number of different agents over the years, some of them excellent. But when we finally found the right house, we chose Sean Blanchette to represent us. We'd bought houses in the past but this short sale was by far the most complicated purchase we've ever made. In order to make this deal work, Sean had to patiently and diligently negotiate with the many parties involved over a period of almost nine months. He steadily steered us through every problem that arose -- and there were many. For example, when one of the tenants removed a fixture from the house at the last minute, Sean offered to replace it for us. When our lender blew the closing date and put the whole deal at risk, Sean found us another lender who approved and closed us in only one week. We could go on and on. We can honestly say we've never seen an agent work harder or more skillfully under such adverse circumstances. We're convinced that no other agent could have gotten this house for us. Because of Sean, we have our dream house and we couldn't be happier. |
