Born in Spartanburg, and a graduate of Winthrop University, Russ has been a disc jockey since the age of 13. Some may recognize Russ from working in top radio and nightclubs across the east coast, including Charlotte, NC, Asheville, NC, Nashville, TN and Greenville, SC. Before joining the Oceanfront Guru team, Russ developed a successful online marketing firm, which since 1997 has specialized in helping businesses get their website listings to the top of the search engine results. It is this speciality which ultimately led him to the field of real estate."I obtained my Tennessee real estate license in 1999, and after many years of successfully working with online real estate companies, I decided to go "head first" and see if I could take my online skills and apply them to the real world.
