Forks Avenue Real Estate is located on Highway 101 at the north end of Forks on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.  We are a full service real estate company, including property management.  At this time we have four full time agents and myself as designated Broker.  We are all well versed in vacant land, residential property and commercial properties.  Our inventory is growing daily.  We will happily do referrals with anyone who has a client looking for property in our area.

We recently moved into a new building at 341 North Forks Avenue.  We are very excited about our move to main street. If you are driving through our town which is 13 miles from the Pacific Ocean please stop in to see us.

I have lived in Forks for the past 30 years, raising my sons by myself.  I spent most of my life in general retail sales and for ten years as a jeweler.  After the loss of a dear friend and co-worker we decided we did not want to continue the business and it was closed.  Since I was not ready to retire, I studied and took my test to be a real estate agent, passing with flying colors.  I came into real estate when things were just taking off in this last up cycle.  What fun!  I found I enjoyed finding the perfect place for the perfect client.  The freedom to work with each person to accomplish his or her goals has been very rewarding.  My very first client has become an excellent friend.  My first dual agency deal has given me old friends and new ones.  In my first year of real estate I received a nice Quill pen from a local title company for putting one million dollars through their company.

I enjoy my family which is spread around the state.  I also enjoy learning new artistic things.  I painted for years on wooden burls and saw blades. I work in acrylics and colored water pencils.  I am self taught.  I also taught myself to do stained glass. I found I have a fascination for glass and am in the process of learning to make glass beads.  I want to learn to make marbles.

I have just been installed as the President of Soroptimists of the Olympic Rain Forest.  We are a group of business women who work for the betterment of women.  We have fund raisers to support all our projects.  Not only do we work hard but we have fun also.  I belong to the Chamber of Commerce and do volunteer work at the local Elks Lodge #2524.
