A fast paced challenging day is one which I can see the result of my work and that makes me smile! I have been a successful REALTOR® since 1990. Real estate is the perfect job for me and I really like my job. I strive to make the transaction easy, enjoyable, and fun for my client. The less stress my client has, the less stress I have. It is my desire to be working in your best interest the whole way. Whether you are buying or selling you need to be aware of the whole situation surrounding the transaction so you can make appropriate choices. I will keep you informed. There is plenty of information on the web for you do use in your personal research, but I bring the industrial strength information with me and fill in the part where you don't know what you don't know!
My experience is substantial, and varied. With experience comes knowledge. My knowledge allows me to get the job done, move to closing and get you on your way with as little complication as possible.
Previous to 1990, I have worked for:
•· Johnson & Johnson Baby Product Company as Marketing Manager
•· Coca-Cola, USA as a District Manager
•· Oakleaf Computers, Inc. as a member of the National Sales Team
Residential real estate is what I do every day. I am well schooled on all the pitfalls and the pressing matters that impact your purchase or sale. I represent a buyer as a buyer's agent or a seller as a seller's agent. My fiducary responsibility goes to my client, always.
For the past five years or so the market has been geared toward foreclosures and short sales. I have certainly listed & sold plenty of foreclosured properties. Those transactions are tough for everyone involved becasue of all the unknowns and the lack of communication from the seller of the properties. I have learned plenty in the last five years that will make me a better REALTOR(r) for all parties in the future.
It seems that the market is stabilizing here in Ann Arbor. I truly don't believe that prices are continuing to fall in our surrounding areas, but in some cases there is an inventory of over 6 months available. Mostly, however, we are finding that there are not enough homes for sale to satisfy the needs of buyers. Recently, I listed a $459,000 property in a gated community and I had multiple offers within days of the the list date. When I did the comparables for that property, I found that there are very few solds in that price range and very few actives in that price range. Therefore, demand has been created. That price range/market is moving very quickly and certainly on the upswing in pricing. All good news for our general market in every price range and location.
