I'm a 4th generation real estate professional with Tom Shaw Realtors. Tom Shaw Realtors has been a family owned and operated Real Estate Brokerage and Development Company since its founding in 1922 by the late Charles A. Shaw and Joe Francis, it was known then as ‘Shaw & Francis.' Some of the most well-kmown neighborhoods in Clayton were developed under its auspices, including Clayton Gardens, Davis Place, Lake Forest, The Moorlands and Claverach Park. Charles Shaw served as Mayor of Clayton for numerous terms and today Claytons City Park bears his name. In the ensuing years, thousands of acres of land have been developed or co-developed through our firm, including Beacon Hill, Forest Green Estates, Cherri Acres, Westbury Manor, The Village of Green Trails, Christmas Valley, Shepard Ridge, Deepwoods, Babler Forest, Rocky Ridge, Shiloh, Thunder Mountain and many others.

I enjoy brokering the sale of commercial land, farms and development parcels as well as advising residential buyers/sellers and multi-family investors. In the winter of 2008 Tom Shaw Realtors launched its Real Estate Consultant Services wherein we advise clients with the proper procedures for the subdivision of  individual offices/retail/warehouse as a whole into commercial condominium units. From the subdivision of the building, creation of the condominium association to gaining proper approval per city codes, rules and regulations; we guide our clients every step of the way.

I'm a member of the St. Louis Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Within these organizations I participate in the Urban Affairs Committee and the Realtor Housing Assistance Fund Committee. I am a member of the Home Builders Association and am a certified Green Building Professional within the association. I'm also active in the Chesterfield, Missouri Civic Progress group ‘Progress 64 West' where I am the organizations Scholarship Director. P64W promotes the Louis S. Sachs Scholarship Award, a $5,000 2-year award which is divided into $2,500 each year. Any high school senior in the Parkway, Rockwood, Francis Howell, Fort Zumwalt or Wentzville school districts or private schools within these areas are eligible to apply bby writing a 700-800 word essay on the topic of how commerce contributes favorably to a community.

I'm a native St. Louisan and a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. Since then, I have become an active volunteer with the Missouri Botanical Gardens Earthways Center helping promote sustainability through environmental education and improving the built environment. I also tak e pride in volunteering with Junior Achievement where I teach the 3rd Grade ‘Our Ciy' program. ‘Our City' studies careers, the skills people need to work in specific careers, and how businesses contribute to a city.
