Get to Know Phil Hutsler

I have been in service industries since 1980, I spent nearly 10 years repairing office equipment (remember IBM Selectric typwriters?) and then nearly 10 years servicing medical equipement. I was skilled in servicing mechanical, electric, ladder logic, electronic, 3 phase electrical, medium pressure steam, pnuematic, and EO gas(toxic) systems. I got very, very good at that and was also truly bored! In 1998 I had the opportunity to get into the mortgage industry and fell in love! From mid 1998 to mid 2003 I was a mortgage originator and was in the top 10 consistantly out of the 300+ loan officers in my company at that time. In 2003 I had the opportunity to become a Team Leader at Keller Williams Realty in Des Peres MO. While that job turned out not to be a fit at the time, I learned a lot about leadership and the real estate side of the business. In Jan. 2004 I joined my wife in our real estate team and really found what I love to do. I've also even done a stint as a representative for a title company. The value I bring to Buyers and Sellers is a total commitment to getting them what they want and if what they want can't be gotten at this time, to help them create a plan to get where they want to be. I understand customer and client service with nearly 30 years experience and bring a unique perspective to the real estate industry having been a loan officer, title rep, team leader and Realtor. If I don't know the answer to a question, I definately know someone who does.

On a personal level, I've been married to the joy of my life (most days) since 1981. We have two grown children and 4 grandchildren. We've both been Boy Scouts of America leaders, and served as Rock Climbing and Rappeling instructors for Troop 374 in Bellefontain Neighbors. We've both also served on boards of directors and I have been an officer for several Hemophilia associations. 

Certifications

I love clients in every price range. Since First Time Buyers and First Time Move Up Buyers/Sellers have the most questions and often need the most advice, my knowledge of lending is particularly usefull to them. However, higher end Sellers and Buyers have special concerns, particularly now, with the majority of the market being first and second time buyers and the higher end home market still very sluggish.  The best homes for the best prices ALWAYS sell in any market at any time. My experience and my sphere of trusted advisors including tax advisors, financial planners, lenders, building inspectors, stagers etc. can help any seller or buyer in any price range.
