Normally, when you need a commercial loan, you first go to your bank, if you do not get what you are looking for , you go to a broker.  In the Poconos, there have been only residential mortgage brokers, who always said "yes", we do commercial too.  However, they usually do not know what they are doing, and wing it, I know, because that is how I got into the commercial loans.  So, we started a commercial mortgage brokerage, and we have a net branch in house for all residential requirements.  We market the commercial business more than the residential aspect of the business.  However, we have put together enough programs that we can compete against ANY bank, both commercial and residential..
