All my life I have been interested in helping people. I came to real estate in 1986 from being a Critical Care Nurse and Emergency Room nurse for 20 years. Helping people is what I do. I am passionate about real estate as a vehicle that anyone can use to attain financial freedom if you set your sites on that. I know how to do that because it is my focus. I was elected Realtor of the Year by my colleuge's for the South Bay Association of Realtors.  I constantly update my knowledge and my education about the different aspects of real estate. I focus on residential homes and residential investment property. I have owned investment property myself since 1973. I constantly attend classes on investment property, management, new practices, keeping long term tenants. I treate investments and residental property as a business. I found it is important not to become involved emotionally. I am a Certified Residential Specialist, a Senior Res. Specialist (for those over 55 and the special exemptions for real estate), I am computer savvy through classes with ePro.  I have been trained to handle Probate sales situations.  I stay well informed about loans and all the other areas of real estate so I can share the information with you when you become my client. I do not just take classes so that I have enough hours to renew my license. I take classes so that I know enough to be able to help you... with your real estate. You are my focus when you are my buyer or seller.

In my personal life I am married to a wonderful patient man who understands that I like helping people and that it takes me away from home to do that. I ski, bicycle long distance and I rescue and foster Abyssinian cats. I also manage the Hermosa Beach Community Garden and give gardening classes. I am a Certified U.C. Davis Master Gardener. I have grown things all my life starting as a small child when my grandmother taught me to propagate African Violets. I have previously owned 2 plant businesses which were successful.

In my spare time I climbed Mt. Whitney, the highest peak in the continental US 4 times and Mt Blanc in Europe once. I have been partially up the Matterhorn in Europe and had to forfeit the peak due to weather conditions.  I have climbed all the local mountains just as practice and I continue to bicycle and hike weekly. I have had to learn to be determined, knowledgeable patient and resourceful. I have sold property in all areas of the Southern California Beache Cities areas as far away as San Diego on the South and San Jose on the north.  This seems like a bunch of I I I I.
