I am a REALTOR with Lucas and Associates in Hoover, Alabama. I hold the Green designation. That means that I have special training in understanding environmental issues and how they play into the real estate experience. Green Designated REALTORS are also better able to understand the ways a person can save money while helping the environment.
Sellers benefit from my training as well as my basic business plan. My listings are marketed using state of the art tools that focus on the three most important references used by home buyers, according to the studies done by the National Association of REALTORS. I stay ahead of the group in matters of technology and real estate trends.
Buyer clients benefit from my experience as well as my understanding of the Birmingham area. I have lived in this area my whole life, and I have an understanding of it that only a local can.
Anyone interested in real estate in the area will also find my working relationship with other REALTORS to be invaluable. Of the thousands of REALTORS in the area, I have one of the better reputations of being easy to work with, professional, and knowlegeable.
Ralph Harbison's Blog Posts
Almost 60% of my business is as a buyer's agent. I have had a great deal of success representing first time homebuyers. As a buyer's agent, I have a unique perspective on what it takes to sell a home. This gives me special insight into the listing of houses. Of the three main resources used by home buyers, my marketing puts emphasis on all of them. No major website is ignored, no tool unused in my system.
Demographically, my clientele has mostly been single women and families. I have sold homes ranging from $30,000 for an investor client to $600,000 to a family. My main market areas are Trussville, Leeds/Moody, Clay, Irondale, Mountain Brook, Vestavia, Homewood, and Hoover. My wide range of experience in real estate as well as in other lines of work has given me skills in negotiations, client care, and more.
I have served two terms as chair of the Eastern Area Caravan of REALTORS and one term as chair of the charity committee. My reputation of professionalism and knowlege beyond the average agent allowed me to be elected to those positions within my first three years of being in the industry. I currently serve on the Professional Development Committee for the Birmingham Association of REALTORS
