Michael Moore is a full time Real Estate Broker serving Contra Costa County. Michael obtained his real estate sales license in 1999. Since then, Michael has successfully marketed and managed hundreds of residential real estate transactions for his clients.
In addition to Michael’s success as trainer in real estate sales, marketing, technology and contract negotiations, Michael’s background includes over 25 years in title plant operations, escrow services, new residential construction and sustainable residential design concepts.
Michael’s unique background and skills empower his clients to navigate through often complex real estate transactions with confidence. Michael is uniquely qualified to offer valuable solutions, strategies and resources saving his clients time and money.
As a member of the Contra Costa Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors®, Michael’s dedication to on-going education includes achieving many coveted designations such as Certified Distressed Property Expert, Real Estate Broker, Green Building and Sustainable Design certificate from UC Davis, LEED AP® from the Green Building Institute and the United States Green Building Council.
Over the years, Michael has actively supported the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Posse, United States Green Building Council, Toys 4 Tots, and the Contra Costa Realtors in Motion. Michael is a military veteran who served in the US Army with E Co 51 Infantry LRSU from 1986 to 1989.
Michael has lived in many Contra Costa County communities including Antioch, Concord, Lafayette, Martinez and Walnut Creek. He currently resides in Pleasant Hill with his wife, Cathy. Michael enjoys playing acoustic and electric guitar, cooking for friends, boating, snowboarding, walking the dogs and most importantly, spending time with his family.

I chose Michael Moore after interacting with about a dozen real estate agents in the Walnut Creek area. Michael was the only agent to take the time to ask me a thoroughgoing set of questions about what I was looking for, what we wanted in a new house and what we didn't want. His approach was thoughtful and personalized. He quickly started making recommendations and showing us properties that fit our needs. | For over a year my wife and I were aggressively searching for homes in the East San Francisco Bay during an ever increasing hot market. We were competing against contractor flippers, international cash investors and a supply/demand market that drove over-bidding, which was scary and time consuming. | During our "looking" phase of finding a home we met many agents. One Sunday we met Michael as we viewed one of his open houses. Right away we enjoyed his casual but professional style...clearly someone who enjoys his profession! It impressed us that Michael was the only one who followed up with us in a professional timely manner. He worked with us "where we were at" by not being pushy or overwhelming. He is genuine, kind & intelligent! When we found the home of our dreams, a bank owned property, Michael went to bat for us by driving the negotiations dealing with a stubborn, slow acting bank.
