Have you ever had such an incredible affinity for something or somewhere that you were almost a "cheerleader" for it?  That's how I feel about where I live here in Sonoma, California.  If you've ever had some delicious wine from California's wine country, it just may have come from this beautiful valley.  I have been a California girl since the very beginning.  I was born in San Francisco, raised in Walnut Creek (which is one hour away and is a similar valley east of San Francisco), and after meeting my husband while attending Chico State University, married and moved here to the wonderful town of Sonoma.  We have been married 20 years and have two teenagers who keep our lives "jumping".  We are fortunate to live in a small town where tourists come from all over the world to come and visit, enjoying the colorful vineyards and incredible weather.  The people here are warm and caring.  The center of our town is the Sonoma "Plaza" which is rich in history.  It is a National Historic Landmark and is where the Bear Flag Revolt took place and the California flag was first raised on June 14, 1845.  This is an eight acre parcel and is our town's focal point.  There are two playgrounds, an ampitheater, duck ponds and lots of trees and grass and picnic areas.  Every Tuesday when the weather is nice, there is a Farmer's Market which you can buy fresh produce and hand-crafted gifts.  Surrounding the Plaza there are over thirty restaurants and some fantastic shops.  My passion is my family, my community, and helping people.  I truly enjoy using my years of knowledge to help each person find the best possible solution for their home financing.
