   A professed "Housaholic", I have been working in real estate for about ten years.  I am a Broker, JD/MBA, a member of the California Bar and a former Entertainment Attorney in Beverly Hills, California.  I helped put myself through Law School and my MBA program, as a Remax Agent, buying, selling and investing in real estate.  I've helped my clients buy and sell homes from investment properties, to high end luxury homes to wonderful city-lofts.

   I also have extensive experience as a certified mediator in Atlanta, Georgia, where I mediated in landlord-tenant court for 3 years during and after Law School.  This gave me incredible hands on experience with home ownership & real property issues in the judicial system.  And of course, while a law degree is not a requirement in a Realtor, my experience with contract law has helped me and my clients in negotiating the best possible deals, points, and terms available. Furthermore, while every Broker does not need an MBA, I have found that my MBA has helped me work with my clients to analyze and interpret the marketplace and to create realistic point-by-point marketing plans in order to best showcase and sell their homes.  My experience as a Broker, as well as the fact that I still own 5 homes of my own (in 3 different cities!) that I manage on a daily basis makes me quite familiar with all aspects of home ownership, negotiation, investment, property management and sales.

  As a former Remax agent dealing in high volume quantity, it was important to me to affiliate with a boutique firm that could be much more hands on and provide the type of service that I was able to provide for my legal clients.  I affiliated with Realty Pros of Texas, primarily because the broker, Carol Fusco is a former Real Estate Attorney who shares the same passion for working closely with her clients and being involved in all aspects of the sale that I have.  It is a customer oriented hands-on firm that works primarily by referrals and word of mouth.  And while you won't see our faces on the back of a bus bench, you will always be able to reach us directly.  We strive to offer a very personal hands on experience.

  My experience has always lead me to the same conclusion: a correctly priced, staged and marketed home will always sell.  I can do that for you by providing the following:

- Ensure your home shows well by recommending minor changes so that the home looks large and spacious and so buyers can envision themselves living there with their furnishings;

- Work with you to determine a price-point which will minimize days on the market and maximize sales price; nKeep the home priced competitively and correctly for the market;

- Create a Marketing Plan specifically for your home; nList the home on HAR and MLS; nProvide Internet Exposure & National Relocation Exposure;

- Provide a Property Profile Flyer,  E-cards & Flyers to potential purchasers;

- Provide beautiful colored brochures to give you and your home a distinct advantage;

- Provide you with a strong Comparative Market Analysis and Neighborhood and Area statistics on home sales;

- Hold regular and posted open houses;

- Request & analyze email and verbal feedback;

 - Seamlessly move you into your new homes ;

- Work closely with you to ensure the experience is as positive and stress-free as possible.

  If you, or anyone that you know, would be interested in this level of client care while buying, selling or renting their home, I would love the opportunity to meet with them.  I'm never too busy for your referrals.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about Robyn Jones Homes.  I am the Broker/Owner of the Houston, San Antonio and Los Angeles office. I have been working in real estate for about ten years.  I am a JD/MBA and a member of the California Bar Association.  I helped put myself through Law School and my MBA program, as a Remax Agent, buying, selling and investing in real estate.  As a former Remax agent dealing in high volume quantity, it was important to me to create a boutique, service-oriented firm that could be much more hands on and provide the type of service that I was able to provide for my legal clients.

And while a Law Degree is not a requirement in a Broker or a Realtor, my experience with contract law has helped my clients and me in negotiating the best possible deals, points, and terms available. And while every Realtor does not need an MBA, I have found that my MBA has helped me work with my clients to analyze and interpret the marketplace and to create realistic point-by-point marketing plans in order to best showcase and sell their homes.  I work closely with my agents to ensure they are able to provide the same level of problem-solving skills and thorough negotiating skills that our clients have come to expect from us. As a former certified mediator (specializing in real property, landlord-tenant disputes) I am an expert in working closely with all parties to insure the deal closes.  My agents and I ensure that we are professionals that can always be counted on to give fair advice to keep the deal moving towards the closing table.

As an entertainment executive, I worked for Paramount Pictures, Polygram Records, BMG Records, Capitol Records, and the Beverly Hills office of the boutique music law firm Davis, Shapiro, Lewit and Hayes, LLP.  One of the philosophies I adopted over the course of a 20 year (plus) career in the entertainment industry is that every client is and deserves to be the "star" of their own transaction.  They deserve to be heard and catered to. It's a fact that many Realtors forget.

As the daughter of an Air Force pilot, who has lived in over 25 homes I have developed a sensitivity to the process of moving homes.  I understand first hand what my clients are experiencing.  Also, the fact that I still own 5 homes of my own (in 3 different cities!) that I manage on a daily basis makes me quite familiar with all aspects of home ownership, negotiation, investment, property management and sales. I am the Property Manager for a number of homes for my clients and I treat them as if they were my own.

I'm a happily married mother with two teenage sons.  My husband is an avid golfer, which makes me somewhat of a celebrity at the golf club.  I walk in and I am immediately greeted and thanked for the case of beer, the new outfit, or the evening out on "Alvin".  My husband denies it, but his golf bets (none of which appear to ever have been won) have provided much better lives for everyone in our golfing community! Altruistic? No.  Bad golfer? Yes. My goal for this year it to walk in and thank some other poor wife for a fabulous evening eating sushi "compliments of her husband". Ahh, dare to dream Robyn, dare to dream.  My sons are pretty great too (if you love sullen teenagers whose vocabularies have dropped to single syllables, don't want to be seen in public with me and invite their 20 closest friends home every single day to plow through the kitchen like locusts).

I am also a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, Houston Association of Realtors, the Houston Association of Realtors 2008 Political Affairs Advisory Leadership Group, the Houston Association of Realtors 2008 Technology Advisory Group, the Willow Fork Country Club House Committee, the Willow Fork Country Club Business Networking Committee and the Willow Fork Country Club New Member Committee, the California Association of Realtors, The Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors and the MLS/CLAW.

I chose to open offices in Houston, San Antonio and Los Angeles because they are such amazing markets.  Los Angeles is a wonderful buyer's market right now, with buyers who have been priced out of the market and renting for the last 10 years, finally able to afford to buy. What a great time to be involved in real estate in the Los Angeles area.  And Houston, what can I say about such a wonderfully consistent market? It's a thriving community with families being transferred in, being transferred out, moving to larger homes to accommodate growing families and moving to smaller homes to accommodate becoming "empty nesters".  This is a fantastic time to be involved in real estate and we welcome the challenges of the changing market.
