100% ENERGY STAR Certified: We are thrilled to announce that all new homes built by Royal Oaks Building Group are now 100% ENERGY STAR Certified. This means that every single one of our inventory homes and presales are at least 15% more efficient than the NC Building Code, with some even 25-30% better. While many builders are ENERGY STAR qualified, meaning that they built their homes to ES standards, we take the extra step to get certified by a 3rd-party HERS Rater. Our rater reviewss the plans of all our homes before construction and then performs 2 inspections during the building process to ensure that we are taking all the steps necessary to provide our future homeowners with a more comfortable, cost-effective and energy-efficient living space. Once construction is complete, our rater performs a Duct Blaster and a Blower Door Test, which combine to give us a HERS Index. To become certified, a home must score an 85 or lower. He puts a blue ENERGY STAR sticker on the breaker box of the home, and as a bonus, Progress Energy, our local provider, will give you 5% off your energy bill for the life of your home. How great is that?! ENERGY STAR certified homes have a tighter building envelope, which translates into more stable internal temperatures, energy and cost savings, healthier air quality, and improved comfort that we are happy to pass onto our homeowners.
Unmatched Included Features: At Royal Oaks, we are committed to making sure we offer the best value for the money. To us, we believe that includes putting things in our homes that other builders may charge extra for. Our homes include 42" cabinets in the kitchen, granite countertops with a ceramic tile backspalsh, chrome fixtures, an extensive trim package, paint and carpet in your choice of color, multiple cable, internet and phone outlets, hardwood floors in the foyer, an upgraded appliance package, a fireplace, and are pre-wired for ceiling fans and a security system. Selection and Design: Once you have found your dream home at one of our Royal Oaks communities, our in-house design coordinator will help you make it your own. You will be invited to our selection center, where you can choose everything from paint and wall colors, to carpet and flooring, to appliances and cabinets, down to the location of outlets and light switches. Buying a finished home? We are still happy to work with you to make sure your home is right for you.
Royal Oaks Builder Warranty: Each of our Royal Oaks homes comes with our Royal Oaks Builder Warranty. When you move into your Royal Oaks home, you will be given a book with all the information you will need about your new home, its construction, its features and contact information, should anything ever go wrong. We understand that as you get settled into your new home, some things may come up. The project manager in your neighborhood will join you for an eleven-month walk, and by the first anniversary of moving into your dream home, we will make sure everything on your list is addressed and completed to your satisfaction. We also have a 24-hour warranty line, so if an emergency occurs, we are just a phone call away.
