The views don't stop in Bend.  Most of the Central Oregon Real Estate area lies within areas rich in natural beauty.  Fairly close to Bend, Oregonyou'll find the following towns:

Sunriver - Famous as an outdoorsman's paradise, Sunriver is one crowning jewel of the Central Oregon real estate market.  In addition to hiking, swimming, boating, skiing, rock climbing and fishing, white-water rafting is highly popular. You'll also find Sunriver Village Mall boasting shops, galleries, sporting goods stores, restaurants and more.  And, of course, Sunriver offers stunning views you won't soon forget.

Redmond - Dotted with lakes and sitting at the edge of the High Desert,
Redmond offers a drier climate than most other towns in the Central Oregon real estate market.  With an annual average of under 9 inches of rain, you can expect sunny days and four distinct seasons when living in Redmond.

La Pine - With Paulina Peak in the distance and two lakes prime for reeling in Brown Trout and other species, La Pine has beautiful views (as does most of the Central Oregon real estate area) and abundant outdoor activities.  It also offers excellent schools and friendly communities.

Sisters - Named for the Three Sisters Mountains (lovingly referred to as Faith, Hope and Charity) the town of Sisters is the transition point between Oregon's snow-covered Cascade Mountains and the high desert.  With an Old West feel including rodeos, festivals and an annual talent show, Sisters is a fun place to live.  And, yes, the views here are tremendous as well!

Crooked River Ranch- In 1910, when Redmond was a bustling community of 216, a Texas oil man by the name of Gates purchased the property from homesteaders, forming what was known for years as the "Gates Ranch". The Ranch's zoning changed from recreational to rural/residential in 1980, and in 1992 final rezoning took place making it a residential subdivision.Crooked River Ranch is, after all, a great place to hang your hat.
